Supporting our church

St Teresa’s parish is no different from our own homes and families, where we know that there is a financial cost to keeping a roof over our heads and food on the table. We also depend on family and friends to help out in all sorts of other ways.

Please give what you can on a regular basis – don’t forget to gift aid if you pay tax….. check out the Gift Aid section on this link Support Us.

Don’t forget that there are other non financial ways of supporting the parish which are also valued and important to enable our parish community to thrive Support Us page has lots of other suggestions.

On Line Donations

St Teresa’s has linked our WEBSITE ONLINE DONATION facility into the Online Giving Service managed by Liverpool Archdiocese. This is the most secure option for your information. No financial details are stored on this website. Please tick the GIFT AID box at the bottom of the drop-down screen if it applies to you. Not sure? …. check out the Gift Aid section on this link Support Us

Contactless Donation in Church

If you want to make your offering using a contactless card or phone, then there is a card machine with instructions by the table at the back of church.

Streaming Mass

Masses, funerals and weddings are streamed from our church via the Chuch Services platform. A direct link is available below.

If you are housebound and want to receive communion at home please contact the parish office (0151 226 1354)

We offer the streaming service to support our housebound / temporary housebound parishioners’.

We hope it will a starting point for non practicing Catholics looking to return to the church, or non Catholics who may want to enquire about the faith. We look forward to you joining us in real life! We know that some people follow the services while on holiday and people as far away as India, Australia and Canada have chosen to celebrate with our parish community … Welcome one and all!

I’m NEW here ….

Welcome! If you’ve any questions when you come into church, then the “Welcomers” will be happy to help; or just ask another parishioner, we’re a friendly bunch. The main mass is on Sunday at 10am.

There is a ramp entrance to the side of the Church. The toilet is next to the main entrance as you come in. The inside porch area doubles as a heated space with seating and resources, for families when children find it hard to settle in mass. Parking is on the main road.

In Church …just a reminder to please …

  • Sanitise your hands when you collect your newsletter.
  • Check your phone is on silent (airplane mode or switched off).
  • If possible, sit in the front half of the church.
  • The font at the back of Church contains holy water. You are invited to bless yourself by dipping your fingers in the water and making the sign of the cross.

Ever wondered what the inside of the Church was like?
